1. Adopt an Entrepreneurial outlook:
We are in a global era of transformation greater than the Industrial Revolution. Stare reality in the face. Forget the past, except whatever lessons you can glean from it. Focusing on the past will only drag you down. Focus on what you can do right now to get yourself into the bright future you can and will create. In the midst of adversity you can find profit, opportunity and transform.
2. Know Why and How:
Ask yourself: Why am I doing this? Does it make me happy? Does it fit with and advance my goals? How will I feel and what will be the consequences if I don’t achieve my dreams? How will I feel if I do? Picture yourself already there, and do that often making that the brightest thing in your mind. Know what you would do if no obstacles stood in the way, and then find a way to do it. As Tony Robbins says, it’s resourcefulness not resources.
3. Be Resilient:
Thoughts equal reality. Lucky people have total, unshakable self-belief. They have a vision, research their plans, and then work the plan, keeping their eyes and hearts and minds open, and adjusting as required but with their expectations and spirits kept high about the future. All the way around they increase their chances for success.
4. Have a Crystal-Clear Vision:
Visualize the best outcome you wish to take place. Keep that the main thought in your mind; do not waste energy and time with self-defeating thoughts, words, and actions. Stay focused. Success is the result focused attention and action, not circumstances. You can realize your vision, the wise stay the course.
5. Listen to Your Inner 6th Sense:
Let go of ego and get into the soul consciousness, one energy field. Sit still and quietly, go deep, breathe and decrease the tension and anxiety that cloud your mind and sap your power. Listen for intuitive guidance and consider it with an open mind. Be open to serendipitous opportunities. Have true faith in your good fortune and for the highest good of all. Feel gratitude and joy in life, be a blessing to yourself and others, now is the time to be a hero to yourself, and to your life. You can.
6. Action is the Magic Wand:
The more focused and effectively you work on your dreams and goals, the luckier you become. What can you do today to move yourself forward? As Oprah says you put in a little effort and get little results. And when you put in greater effort, you obtain greater results. All of the greatest minds in history say nothing replaces hard, focused work and determination, not talent, not money, not advantages. Smart hard work pays off.
7. Find a Heroic Model:
For me, the hero blueprint is most realized in the true stories of Seabiscuit and Saint Joan of Arc. Maybe Rocky Balboa most resonates with you. Whatever it is, have a heroic model that sustains you when everyone tells you that you’re wrong. That same kind of ‘Rocky’ hero is in you. And in striving to reach our dreams we give full expression to that hero inside. Have a heroic model or two, but remember that the hero you most need to believe in, is the one in you.
